That’s a lot of veggies. I’m posting about two weeks after I received that share, and I haven’t gotten through much of it yet.

A POUND of kale (which will go into a Caldo Verde, recipe courtesy of my father in law).  Spinach, which I sauteed with salt pork. Yum. Cabbage, which I braised….someday I’ll have to share that recipe. Butternut, red and yellow onions, rutabaga, celeriac, brussels sprouts, leeks, carrots, and potatoes.

And I have to go pick up another share tonight. Maybe I’ll have a frittata/quiche tonight that involves leeks, or maybe I’ll braise them. My friend Meredith made braised leeks for Thanksgiving, and she said they were a hit.
